Solve this by an easy and common method. I.e. Middle term splitting.

Let x2=y

Now , x4—5x2+6=0

y2—5y+6=0

y2—2y—3y+6=0

y(y−2)−3(y−2)=0

(y−3)(y−2)=0

Therefore, y=3 or y=2

Previously we have assume that x2=y

Therefore, x2=3orx2=2

x=+√3orx=+√2

Therefore, there are 4 solutions of this equation

I.E. [math]x=+√3;-√3;+√2;-√2[/math]
