Answer:-

Given:-

(x - 1)/x = 5

⟹ (x/x) - (1/x) = 5

⟹ 1 - 1/x = 5

⟹ 1 - 5 = 1/x

⟹ - 4 = 1/x

Cubing both sides we get;

⟹ (- 4)³ = (1/x)³

⟹ - 64 = 1/x³

Now;

We have to find the value of:

⟹ (x³ - 1)/x³

⟹ x³/x³ - 1/x³

Substitute the value of 1/x³

⟹ 1 - ( - 64)

⟹ 1 + 64

⟹ 65

∴ The value of (x³ - 1)/x³ is 65.
