solve linear equation 2x+11/4=1/3x+2

x = -9/20 or -0.45

=> 2x+11/4=1/3x+2

=> 2x-x/3= -11/4+2

=> 6x/3-x/3= -11/4+8/4

=> 5x/3= -3/4

Now we will cross multiply

=> 5x*4 = -3*3

=> 20x= -9

=> x= -9/20 or -0.45
