Solve log (x^2-x) to the base x+3<1

we have

log base(x+3) of(x^2-x)<1

(x^2-x)<(x+3)

x^2-2x-3<0

x^2-(3-1)x-3<0

(x^2-3x)+(x-3)<0

(2x-3)(x-3)<0

So for all x belonging to (1.5,3) is the solution set.
