It is given that A can finish the work in 16 days and B can finish the same work in 20 days.
so the work done by A in one day=1/16.
work done by B in one day=1/20.
so the work done by A+B in one day=1/16+1/20
=9/80
so the work done by A+B in 4 days=4×9/80
=9/20
remaining work=1-9/20=11/20
It is given that the remaining work is done by B it is given that the completed work done by B in 20 days
so the 11/20 of the work will be done by B
=20×11/20
=11 days.
Thus B can finish the remaining work in 11 days .
