Candles in 144 packets = 72×144

= 10,368

So she packs 10,368 candles in 1 day

30.(i) Cost of 1 kg of Tomatoes = 12

Cost of 1/2 kg of Tomatoes = 1/2×12 = 12/2 = 6

(ii) Cost of 1 kg of potatoes = 12

Cost of 2 kg of potatoes=12×2= 24

(iii) Total price of all the items= Cost of Tomato+Cost of potato+ Cost of Onion+ Cost of Carrot + Cost of Pumpkin

=12+12+20+16+20

=80

(iv) Price of 1 kg of pumpkin = 20

Price of 1/2 kg of pumpkin = 1/2×20=20/2= 10
