 \frac{n}{2}  +  \frac{n}{5}  = 7 \\

 \frac{5n + 2n}{10} = 7  \\

 \frac{7n}{10}   = 7\\

7n = 7 \times 10

7n = 70

n =  \frac{70}{7}  \\

n = 10 \\

Answer:

10( \frac{n}{2} +  \frac{n}{5} ) = 10.7

10.n/2+10.n/5=10.7

5n+2n=10.7

7n=10.7

multiply the numbers

7n=70

Divide both sides of the equation by the same term

7n/7=70/7

Cancel terms that are in both the numerator and denominator

N=10
