Let the ten's place be y and units place be x.
Therefore the two digit no =10y+x
Sum of digits =x+y
Difference of digits =x-y or y-x. (we do not know which one is greater)
Atp,
(X+y) 8=10y+x
Or, 8x+8y-10y-x=5
Or, 7x-2y=5......(i)
For difference between the digits,
Case 1:(x-y)16+3=10y+x
Or,15x-26y=-3.....(ii)
Case 2:(y-x)16+3=10y+x
Or, 6y-17x=-3.......(iii)
Solving (i) and (ii) we get,
(i) *13 and i-ii,
91x-26y=65
15x-26y=-3

By solving (i) and (III) we get,
