areaof parallelogram=2×(area of trianglePQR)
=2×(1/2×b×h)
=2×1/2×24×6)
=2×12×6
=2×72

=144cm2

Solution:-

Given= Parallelogram is devided into two triangles so,

Area of 1st triangle+Area of second=A.of P.g.

So,Area of triangle=1/2×Base×Height

So,1st =1/2×24×6=72sq.cm

2nd=1/2×6×24=72sq.cm

Area of Parallelogram=72+72=144sq.cm. Ans.
