Solve p(x)=2x-8 using graph.

⇒ p(x) = 2x - 8.

As we know that,

We can write equation as,

⇒ y = 2x - 8.

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ y = 2(0) - 8.

⇒ y = - 8.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-8).

Put the value of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ (0) = 2x - 8.

⇒ 2x = 8.

⇒ x = 4.

Their Co-ordinates = (4,0).
