  • Equations are :
  • Eq(1) => 4x + 7y = 16xy
  • Eq(2) => 10x + 3y = 11xy
  • now multiplying eq(1) by 5 and eq(2) by 2 , we get
  • 20x + 35y = 80xy
  • 20x + 6y = 22xy
  • now subtract both equation ,
  • 20x - 20x + 35y - 6y = 80xy - 22xy
  • 29y = 58xy
  • cancel y
  • 58x = 29
  • x = 29/58 = 29 ÷ 58 = ½
  • Value of x = ½
  • then , substitute value of x in eq1 , we get
  • 4(½) + 7y = 16(½)y
  • 2 + 7y = 8y
  • 8y - 7y = 2
  • y = 2
  • Value of y = 2
