-5x+y=2 -1

6x-3y =1 -2

multiplying eq1 by 3and 2 by 1

-15x +3y = 6. -3

6x - 3y = 1 -4

adding eq 3 and 4

-15x + 3y = 6

6x -3y. = 1

we get -9x = 7

x = 7/-9 or x=-7/9

put value in eq1

-5x + y = 2

-5×7/-9 + y = 2

35/9 + y = 2

y= 2-35/9

y= 18-35/9=17/9
