Step-by-step explanation:

in parallelogram sum of adjacent angles = 180

3x-4+(3x+16)=180

6x+12=180

6x=168

x=28°

so, measure of angles

=3(28)-4

=84-4

=80

and 3(28)+16=84+16=100

therefore,measure of angles are 80°,100°,80°,100°

Given:-

  • Two adjacent angles of parallelogram are (3x + 16)° and (3x - 4)°.

To find:-

  • Value of x
  • All angles of parallelogram.

Solution:-

We know that,

Sum of two adjacent angles of parallelogram is 180°.

So,

⇒(3x - 4)° + (3x + 16)° = 180°

⇒3x - 4° + 3x + 16° = 180°

⇒6x + 12° = 180°

⇒6x = 180° - 12°

⇒6x = 168°

⇒x = 168°/6

x = 28°

Value of x is 28°

_____________________

(3x - 4)° = (3×28)° - 4° = 80°.

(3x + 16)° = (3×28)° + 16° = 100°.

  • We know that, Opposite angles of parallelogram are equal.

So,

Angle opposite to 80° is also 80°.

Similarly,

Angle opposite to 100° is also 100°.

Therefore,

First angle of parallelogram is 80°.

Second angle of parallelogram is 100°.

Third angle of parallelogram is 80°.

Fourth angle of parallelogram is 100°.
