in first test tube there is water and water is neutral so there is a no change 2nd test tube there is a acid solution so red litmus paper remains red in 3rd test tube there is a basic solution so reds red turns to blue

the red litmus turns blue with contact of base..
and remains red with the contact of acid...

so..
in first test tube..there is distilled water..which is slightly acidic...so ..the litmus remains red...means the content in first test tube is..acidic..

in second test tube..there is acid ..so the above same conclusion can be considered..

in third test tube ...there is base..so the litmus turns blue......so we can conclude from it ..that the medium in third test tube is basic....
