Given :

⬤ a) 2(3x - 1)/7 + 5x = 1/3

⬤ b) 35y + 5/12 = 15

To Find :

⬤ a) Value of x .

⬤ b) Value of y .

Solution :

\bf[\:{a)\dfrac{2(3x-1)}{7+5x}=\dfrac{1}{3}}\:]

\sf{\dfrac{6x-2}{7+5x}=\dfrac{1}{3}}

By Cross Multiplication :-

3(6x - 2) = 1(7 + 5x)

18x - 6 = 7 + 5x

18x - 5x = 7 + 6

13x = 13

x = 13/13

x = 1

Therefore , The Value of x is 1 .

\bf[\:{b)\dfrac{35y+5}{12}=\dfrac{15}{1}}\:]

By Cross Multiplication :-

35y + 5 = 15(12)

35y + 5 = 180

35y = 180 - 5

35y = 175

y = 175/35

y = 5

Therefore , The Value of y is 5 .
