Heya !! ☺

A = Ethanol, C2H5OH

B = Ethene, CH2=CH2

C = Ethane, C2H6

• When Ethanol is heated with excess of conc. H2SO4, it gets dehydrated to form ethene (an unsaturated hydrocarbon)
CH3–CH2–OH => CH2=CH2 + H2O

• When ethene is heated with hydrocarbon in the presence of nickel catalyst it forms ethane (a saturated hydrocarbon)
CH2=CH2 + H2 => CH3–CH3

• CH3–CH3 + 7/2 O2 => 2CO2 + 3H2O + Heat + Light

Hope my ans.'s satisfactory.
