and, a₁ + + a₃ + a₅ + -----------a₁₉₉ = β ______(2)
On substracting Eq . (ii) from eq. (i) , we get,
(a₂ - a₁ )+ (a₄- a₃) + (a₆ - a₅ ) +----------(a₂₀₀ - a ₁₉₉) = α - β
- =>d + d + d -------100times = α - β
- => 100d = α - β
- => d = α - β /100 Answer
