Hi !

Y²+2√3Y - 9 = 0

Y²+ √3Y- 3√3Y -9 = 0 (Splitting terms )

Y(Y+√3) -3√3(Y+√3 ) = 0

(Y-3√3) (Y+√3 ) = 0

Y = 3√3 ,and Y = -√3 Answer
