Explanation:

(2x - 3)(3x + 1)

2x(3x + 1) - 3(3x + 1)

6 {x}^{2}  + 2x - 6x - 3

6 {x}^{2}  - 4x -  3

its not a quadratic equation so it will not be solved by factorisation.
2x-3(3x+1)=0
2x-9x-1=0
-7x-1=0
-7x=1
X=-1/7
