As when you put x=1,you don't get the equation =1
And you need to prove that x=1
so what is the right question

2√x+√5x-4√x=1 so multiplying by √x we get 2x+x√5-4x=√x then by squaring both the sides we get 5x2-4x2=x which equals to x2=x which can only be if x=1 hence proved.
