Solution:
Since बेलन is cylindrical in shape;
Diameter of helical coil = 4 + 20 +4 = 28 cm
Circumference of coil .
= π × 28
= 87.96 cm
since the thickness of wire is 4mm, therefore pitch of the wire coiled around the Belan will also be 4mm.
No. of revolutions = (240/4) + 1
= 61 Nos
Therefore, length of the wire = circumference × no. of revolutions
= 87.96 × 61
= 5365.56 cm
