Step-by-step explanation:

4. Suppose one number is X

so, another number will be X + 15

Given

Sum of these numbers is 95

X + X + 15= 95

2X = 95-15

2X = 80

X= 80/2 = 40

One number will be 40

and another number will be X+15 = 40+15 = 65.

5. Suppose one number is X

another Number is Y

Given

X:Y =5:3

so X/Y = 5/3

3X = 5Y ------- Equ. ¡

X-Y =18 --------- Equation ii

Multiply equation ii with 5 and add to equ i

(5X-5Y =90 )+ (5Y-3x = 0)

2X = 90

X= 45

put value of X into equ. ii

45-Y= 18

Y= 45-18= 27

So, one number is 45 and another is 27
