Now,
∠APB = 90
∠CAP = ∠CBP = 90 (Line drawn from the centre to a tangent at the point of contact is perpendicular to it)
∠ACB = 90 ( as the other angles are 90) or (by the angle sum property of a quadrilateral)
∴, APCB is a square (∵ CA = CB and all the angles are 90)
∴PA = PB = 4cm (tangents drawn from external point to circle are equal)
