1. in the given figure there are 5 squares at bottom, 3 squares in second row and 1 in first.
hence there are (5+3+1) 9 squares.
Therefore the area is 9 sq. cm.
Similarly the area of second figure is 6 sq. cm
and third is 5 sq. cm.

hence area of given figure is 4 sq. m.
Given that the area is divided into two equal triangles hence area of each triangle is 4/2 sq.m
