 \bold{Given: x^2−3x+2=0}

 \small \bold {x^2−2x−1x+2=0 (Resolving  \: the \:  expression)}

x(x−2)−1(x−2)=0 (Taking common factors)

(x−2)(x−1)=0 (Taking common factors)

∴x−2=0 or x−1=0 (Equating each factor to zero)

∴x=2 or x=1

  \small\bold{∴2  \: and  \: 1  \: are \:  the  \: roots \:  of \:  x^2−3x+2=0}
