3x - 4y = 10......... (1)
4x + 3y =5............(2)
Take LCM of 4y and 3y which is 12y.
Multiply (1) by 3
3[3x - 4y = 10]
=9x - 12y = 30..........(3)
Multiply(2) by 4
4[4x + 3y =5]
=16x + 12y =20........(4)
Add(3) and (4)
9x - 12y =30
16x +12y =20
___________
25x =50
x=50/25
x=2
Put x in (2)
4[2] + 3y =5
3y =5-8
3y = -3
y = -3/3
y = - 1
Hence x =2 and y= -1
Hope this will help you.
Good luck
