Given : x-3y=1;3x-2y+4=0

Solution :

Here we have given Two equations

(i) x-3y=1

x = 1+3y

taking y = 0

we get x = 1

coordinate = (1,0)

taking y = -1

we get x = -2

coordinate = (-2,-1)

(ii) 3x-2y+4=0

taking x = 0

we get y = 2

coordinate = (0,2)

taking y = -1

we get x = -2

coordinate = (-2,-1)

now , plot all these coordinates in the graph

we get the intersection of both the equations at  point (-2,-1)
