solve solve 10 x square - 9 x minus 7

10x^2 - 9x - 7 = 0

=> 10x^2 - 14x + 5x - 7 = 0

=> 2x ( 5x - 7 ) + 1 ( 5x - 7 ) = 0

=> (2x + 1) (5x - 7) = 0

case 1: case 2:

2x + 1 = 0 5x - 7 = 0

=> 2x = -1 => 5x = 7

=> x = -1/2 => x = 7/5
