x + y = 5....equation(1) \\  \\ 2x - 3y = 4...equation(2) \\  \\  =  > take \: equation(1) \times 2 - equation(2) \\  \\ 2x + 2y = 10 \\ 2x - 3y = 4 \\  -  \: \:  \:   +  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:   -  \\  ........................ \\ 0 \:  + 5y = 6 \\  \\  \:  \: 5y = 6 \\  \\  \:  \:  \: y =  \frac{6}{5}  \\  \:  \\  \:  \:  \: value \: of \: y \: put \: in \: equation \: (1) \\  \\ =  >  x +  \frac{6}{5}  = 5 \\  \\  =  > x = 5 -  \frac{6}{5}  \\  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{25 - 6}{5}  =  \frac{19}{5}

x =  \frac{19}{5}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{6}{5}
