Step-by-step explanation:

5x+3y=13

2x-y=3

2(5x+3y)=2(13)

10x+6y=26

5(2x-y)=5(3)

10x-5y=15

(10x+6y)-(10x-5y)=26-15

y=1

if we substitute y as 1 then,

5x+3(1)=13

5x=10

x=2

if we substitute the value of x and y in 2x-y=3 then it should also satisfy let's check

2(2)-1(1)=3

4-1=3

so it had been satisfied so x=2,y=1
