Let original fraction be x/y
so A/Q , x+5/y-1 = 4/5 => 5x+25 = 4y-4
=> 4y-5x = 29
and x-3/y-5 = 1/2 => 2x-6 = y-5
y-2x = -1 multiplying eqn 2 with 4 we get
4y-8x = -4
Subtracting eqn 2 from 1 we get,
4y-5x-4y+8x = 29+4 = 33
So 3x = 33 => x =11 and y = 21
So as original fraction is x/y then original fraction is 11/21 , so numerator is 11.
