Answer:

In given figure,

angle x is corresponding to angle y thus their measure will be same .

we have angle x as 80° thus angle y = 80°

angle y is corresponding to angle z thus their measure will be same

we have angle y as 80° thus angle z = 80°

this is ur required answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

OA || EC and OB || ED and < x = 80°

To find :-

Find the values of <y and <z ?

Solution :-

Given that :

OA || EC and OB || ED and < x = 80°

From the figure

OA || EC and OB is the transversal

We know that

corresponding angles are equal

<x and <y are corresponding angles

=> <x = <y

=> <y = 80°

and

OB || ED and EC is a transversal

We know that

corresponding angles are equal

<y and <z are corresponding angles

=> <y = <z

=> <z = 80°

Answer:-

<y = 80° and <z = 80°

Used formulae:-

→ If two parallel lines Intersected by a transversal then the Corresponding angles are equal.

→ The angles which are non adjacent angles and one is the interior and another is exterior and the angles on the same side to the transversal then they are called corresponding angles.
