Answer:

Number = 59

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1st digit of the no be = X

And, 2nd digit be = Y

Then, the no. will be = 10X + Y

According to the question:-

1.) X + Y = 14 (1st equation)

2.) 10X + Y + 36 = 10Y +X

    36 = 10Y - Y + X - 10X

    36 = 9Y - 9X

By simplifying the equation:-

   4 = Y - X (2nd equation)

Now, By Elimination Method (adding both equations) :-

X - X + Y + Y = 4 + 14

2Y = 18

Y = 18/2

Y = 9 (result 1st)

Now putting value of Y in any of the above equations:-

Y - X = 4

(9) - X = 4

- X = 4 - 9

- X = - 5

X = 5 (second result)

By combining both the results:-

10X + Y

10(5) + (9)

50 + 9

And,

The number we need is = 59
