 \tan30  +  \frac{sin45}{2}

 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  +  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }   \div 2

 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  + ( \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{1}{2} )

 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  +  \frac{1}{2 \sqrt{2} }

Rationalising the denomimator

  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{3}  +  \frac{2 \sqrt{2} }{8}

  \frac{8 \sqrt{3 }  + 2(3) \sqrt{2} )}{24}

 \frac{8 \sqrt{3 } + 6 \sqrt{2}  }{24}
