Answer:

  \pink{☯}\ Solution :

We have,

  \purple{\longrightarrow } \pink{\bf{{\frac{17(2 - x) - 5(x + 12)}{1 - 7x} = 8}}}

 \space

 \rm{ \purple{\implies} \frac{34 - 17x - 5x - 60}{1 - 7x}  =  \frac{8}{1} }

 \space

\rm{ \purple{\implies} \frac{ - 22x - 26}{1 - 7x} } =  \frac{8}{1}

   \:

[By cross Multiplication] We get,

\rm{ \red{\implies}1 \times ( - 22x - 26) = 8 \times (1 - 7x)}

 \space

\rm{ \red{\implies} - 22x - 26 = 8 - 56x}

 \space

\rm{ \red{\implies} - 22x + 56x = 8 + 26}

  \space

\rm{ \red{\implies} {34x = 34}}

 \:

[ Dividing both sides by 34 ] We get,

\rm{ \purple{\implies} \frac{34x}{34} =  \frac{34}{34}  }

 \:

\rm{ \purple{\implies} \pink{x} \blue{ = } \bf{ \green{1}}}

Hence, \rm{\pink{x} \blue{ = } \bf{ \green{1}}} is the Solution of the given equation.
