From equation 1st

x/2+y=0.8

or x= (0.8-y)2


Now putting this value in another embodiment equation.. x+y/2=10

after sustitituting x value from 1st



(0.8-y)2+y/2 =10

or 2* (0.8-y)*2+y=20

or 3.2-4y + y = 20

or -3y = 16.8

or y = -16.8/3

= - 5.6

now putting y value in 1st

x/2 -5.6=0.8

x/2 = 0.8+5.6


x= 2*(6.4)

=12.8
