Question :

BM and DN are both perpendiculars to the line segment AC. also BM = DN. prove that AC bisects BD.

Given :

• BM ⊥ AD & DN ⊥ AC
• BM = DN

To Prove :

• AD bisect BD.

Proof :

In △DON & △BOM

DN = BM (Given)

DON = BOM (Vertically Opposite angle)

∠N = ∠M (Each 90°)

By AAS rule △BOM ≅ △DON

BO = DO

So, AC Bisect BD
