Forward Force i.e. F = 1000 N
Frictional Force i.e. F = 500 N
Time i.e. T = 10 s
Net Force = { 1000 - 500 }N = 500 N
Now , let V be the velocity offer 10 seconds.
=> 500 = 100(v-10)/10
=> 500 = 100v - 1000
=> 500 + 1000 = 100v
=> 100v = 1500
=> V = 1500/100 = 15
Hence , the velocity after 10 seconds will be 15m/s.
