x, y and z are in AP.
So x+z=2y.

A1 = AM of x and y
A1 = (x+y)/2
Similarly, A2 = AM of y and z
So A2 = (y+z)/2

AM of A1 &A2 = (x+z+2y)/4
= (2y+2y)/4 = y , as x+z = 2y

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Here,x,y,z are in AP.=>x+z=2y

We know,Arithmetic mean of two numbers a and b is (a+b)/2.

Hence,A1=(x+y)/2.

A2=(y+z)/2.

Arithmetic mean of A1 and A2=(A1+A2)/2=(x+y+y+z)/4.

Since,x+z=2y

Therefore,Arithmetic mean=(2y+2y)/4=y

Hope you understood
