solve the eqation 3x+2y=29; 5x-y=18

5x-y = 18

= 10x - 2y = 36

3x + 2y + 10x -2y = 36 + 29

= 13 x = 65

x = 5

3x + 2 y =29

15 + 2y=29

=2y = 14

y =7
