To find:

The value of x

How to solve equation ?

Equation solving is So easy you just need to follow the instructions.

i) First arrange the no. in one side and variable in one side.

ii) The sign will change if we change the no. or variable between equal =. Like + change into - and × change into ÷ .

iii) Use the BODMAS and just go ahead.

Solution:

4(x + 1) - 8(5 - x)= 3

4x + 4 - 8*5 + 8x = 3

4x + 8x + 4 - 40 = 3

12x - 36 = 3

12x = 36 + 3

12x = 39

x = 39/12

x = 13/4

Therefore, The required value of x is 13/4 .
