=1+24/25

=49/25

so,roots are real and distinct

by quadratic formula

x=-b±√D/2a

=-(-1)±√49/25/2×2/5

=1±7/5/4/5

=(5±7/5)5/4

=5±7/4

taking +ve. taking -ve

x=5+7/4. x=5-7/4

x=12/4. x=-2/4

x=3. x=-1/2
