Solve the equation 2(x+3) -3x = 8 - 2 (2x-5) and check your answer

Answer:

2(x+3)-3x = 8-2(2x-5)

2x+6-3x = 8-4x-10

2x-3x+4x = 8-10-6

6x-2x = -8

4x = -8

x = -8/4

x = -2.
