Hey there!

★ As per your given question, we have to solve the equation and find the value of 'x'.

★ Remember that 'x' is a common variable used in this question and answer.

\rm{\longrightarrow 2 (x + 3) - 3x = 8 - 2(2x - 5)}

Simplify both sides:-

\rm{\longrightarrow 2(x + 3) - 3x = 8 - 2(2x - 5)}

\rm{\longrightarrow (2)(x) + (2)(3) + -3x = 8 + (-2) (2x) + (-2)(-5)}

Distributing the equation:-

\rm{\longrightarrow 2x + 6 + -3x = 8 + -4x + 10}

\rm{\longrightarrow (2x + -3x) + (6) = (-4x) + (8 + 10)}

Combining the like terms:-

\rm{\longrightarrow -x + 6 = -4x + 18}

Adding '4x' for both sides:-

\rm{\longrightarrow -x + 6 + 4x = -4x + 18 + 4x}

\rm{\longrightarrow 3x + 6 = 18}

Subtracting '6' from both sides:-

\rm{\longrightarrow 3x + 6 - 6 = 18 - 6}

\rm{\longrightarrow 3x = 12}

Dividing '3' on both sides:-

\rm{\longrightarrow \dfrac{3x}{x} = \dfrac{12}{3}}

{\longrightarrow{\boxed{\bold{x = 4}}}}

Thanks!

\purple{\star} ~ \boxed {\sf {2(x + 3)-3x = 8 - 2(2x - 5)}}

 ⇢  \sf  2x + 6-3x = 8 - 4x + 10

 ⇢  \sf  -x + 6 = 18 - 4x

  ⇢  \sf -x + 4x = 18 - 6

  ⇢   \sf 3x = 12

 ⇢ \sf  x =  \frac{12}{3}\\

 \therefore~ \red{\sf{ x = 4}}
