The question is not very clear as I don't get if it's 2(x-3) or 2x-3 so I'll provide the solution for both.

1:

2(x-3) = \frac{x-1}{2}

2x - 6 = \frac{x-1}{2}

by cross multiplication,

2(2x-6) = x - 1

4x - 12 = x - 1

4x - x = -1 + 12

3x = 11

x = \frac{11}{3}

2:

2x - 3 = \frac{x-1}{2}

2(2x-3) = x-1

4x - 6 = x - 1

4x - x = -1 + 6

3x = 5

x = \frac{5}{3}

Hope it helps

have a great day
