\longmapsto \sf \frac{3x - 1}{x}  = 7 \\

\longmapsto \sf3x - 1 = 7x \\

\longmapsto \sf7x - 3x =  - 1 \\

\longmapsto \sf4x =  - 1

\longmapsto \sf x = -   \frac{1}{4} \\

\longmapsto \sf x =  - 0.25

Answer :

2x - 1/x = 7

2x² -1 = 7x

2x² -7x -1 = 0

solving we get,

  • x ≈ 3.63 and -0.11
