2x + 11 = 0

2x = -11

x = -11/2

x = -5.5

on  the number line,

make a number line from +6 to -6 and mark -5.5 which will come between -5 and -6

on the cartesian plane

X    -5.5    -5.5    -5.5

Y       0        1          2
