-3x+2y=1 - - - - - (ii) Multiplying 3 in eq (I) and 2 in eq (ii) we obtained that :- 6x+9y=24 - - - - - (iii) -6x+4y=2 - - - - - - -(IV) Adding eq (iii) & eq (IV) we obtain that 13y=26 y=26/13=2 Substituting the value of y in eq (I) we obtain that 2x+3(2)=8 =>2x=8-6 =>2x=2 =>x=2/2 =>x=1
