Given two equations are,

2x+3y=9-----------(1)

y-x=-2-----------(2)

Multiply equation (2) with 2

2(y-x)=2(-2)

2y-2x=-4--------(3)

Add equation (1) and (3)

2x+3y+2y-2x=9+(-4)\\ 5y=5\\ y=1

Substitute y=1 in equation (1)

2x+3(1)=9\\2x+3=9\\2x=9-3\\2x=6\\x=3

Therefore, the value of x is 3 and value of y is 1.

Given,

2x+3y=9_____(1)

y-x=-2______(2)

Multiply equation (2) with 3

3y-3x=-6_____(3)

Subtract equation (1)from equation (3)

3y-3x-(2x+3y)=-6-9

-5x=-15

x= 3

Substitute x=3 in equation (3)

3y-3\times3=-6

3y=-6+9\\3y=3\\y=1

Therefore, the values of x and y is 3,1.
