2x - y = 10 \\ 2x =  10 + y \\ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤx =  \frac{10 + y}{2}   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: .... (1)

x + 2y = 10 \:  \:  \:  \: ...(2)

put Value x In Equation ( 2 )

 \frac{10 + y}{2}  + 2y = 10 \\  \frac{10 + y + 4y}{2}  = 10 \\ 10 + 5y = 20 \\ 5y = 20 - 10 \\ 5y = 10 \\  y =   \cancel\frac{10}{5}  \\  \boxed{y = 2}

Put Y = 2 In Equation( 1 )

x =  \frac{10 + 2}{2}  \\ x =  \cancel \frac{12}{2}  \\ \boxed{ x = 6}

 \therefore \:  \large{ answer} = (x,y) = (6,2)

Question :

  1. solve the equation 2x-y =10, x+2y=10

Answer :

2x - y = 10×1

x + 2y = 10×2

______________

make x or y equal. im doing x

2x - y = 10

2x + 4y = 20 ( change symbols of 2nd equ )

+2x - y = 10

-2x - 4y = - 20

_____________

-5y = -10

y = -10/-5

y = 2 ( - will be cancel )( substitute y value in 1st equ )

2x -(+2) = 10

2x - 2 = 10

2x = 10 + 2

2x = 12

x = 12 / 2

x = 6
